Overview

InstantPlay is a free browser-games site operated independently. We do not require an account to play. This policy explains what limited data we use to operate the site, improve games, and fund the portal through advertising (including Google AdSense).

Information stored on your device

• High scores, reaction votes, and similar gameplay preferences in browser local storage.
• Ad consent choice (`accepted` or `essential`) in local storage.
• Optional session markers that limit how often pre-roll creatives appear.

These values stay in your browser unless you clear site data. We do not require you to create a profile or provide a name to play.

Cookies and similar tech

We and our advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:

• Remember your ad consent preference
• Measure site traffic and which games people play
• Serve and measure advertisements that fund free access
• Deliver personalized ads when you choose “Accept ads,” or non-personalized ads when you choose essential-only

Advertising and Google AdSense

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to InstantPlay and/or other sites on the internet.

Analytics

We use PostHog to record anonymous product events so we can see which games people discover, start, finish, and share, and whether ads load correctly. Events include page views, game clicks, game starts and completions, catalog searches, and ad interactions. We do not create accounts, call identify, or record session replays.

Analytics is separate from the advertising consent prompt. Events are designed to avoid personal identifiers. PostHog's own practices are described in their privacy policy.

Children

InstantPlay offers some kids-friendly games and is intended as a general audience entertainment site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information can contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it from systems we control.
